Wednesday April 24 in Here it all begins…

Anaïs discovers Teyssier’s manipulations

Installed at Teyssier, Anaïs discusses her menu ideas for Bleupré with him before going to the Institute with Bérénice. Constance then takes advantage of being alone with her husband to ask him to account. She wants to know why he invited Anaïs to move in with them and above all, without asking her opinion. Teyssier explains that Anaïs needed a quiet place to work and that he didn’t think it would bother her. Constance finds that he behaves with Anaïs as if she were his daughter. Teyssier doesn’t want to hear anything more.

At the Institute, Carla hastens to repeat to Salomé and Mehdi what Bérénice taught her: namely that Anaïs lives under the same roof as Teyssier. Salomé, who was unaware, finds it hard to believe it. Carla begins to make assumptions about the true nature of the relationship between principal and student. Salomé steps up to defend her friend. Mehdi agrees, while emphasizing that Teyssier and Anaïs’ relationship is not healthy. He actually has the impression that the young woman is under the influence of the leader.

In the kitchen, during service, Salomé gets news from Anaïs, who confirms that she feels much better at Teyssier than at the roommate in the marshes with Livio. Salomé nevertheless tries to make her understand that she should respect certain limits in relation to the director, on the one hand to avoid inappropriate rumors, on the other hand to avoid being dependent on him. But Anaïs doesn’t see it that way. On the contrary, she says that Teyssier helps her stay focused and that’s exactly what she needs.

At the end of the service, while Anaïs cleans her kitchen, Claire comes to see her to congratulate her. She admits to having lunch at Double A with a friend who heard a lot about her through chef Meyer. Anaïs doubts that he has heard good things about her. Claire then reveals that Meyer really wanted to hire her in his new restaurant in Bordeaux, but that she made a deal with Teyssier so that he could keep her at Bleupré.

Later, while working on the menu at Bleupré, Anaïs receives a visit from Leroy. As she can’t take a step back, she asks him for his opinion on her plate. Leroy tastes it and compliments her on her very accomplished work. Anaïs admits that she has trouble trusting herself, especially since Meyer rejected her. She repeats to Leroy what Claire told him earlier, finding it hard to believe. Leroy then admits that she was his first choice for his restaurant project in the Andes. But Teyssier dissuaded him because he wanted to keep her at Double A. Consequently, Leroy proposed the project to David and Deva.

Anaïs then finds David to discuss the situation with him. The latter thinks that she should confront Teyssier to get the end of the story. But Anaïs believes that it is difficult to do so without proof. David reminds her that she now lives at his house and that if she does a little digging, she might come across something.

The young man therefore accompanies his friend to Teyssier’s house to go through her things in her absence. Anaïs finds dessert proposals from the chef for Meyer’s new restaurant. She assumes that this is a bargaining chip in the deal that Claire told her about. For his part, David comes across another document revealing that Teyssier will finance Bleupré by eliminating the Masters from the month of July. If Rose finds out, there will be war at the Institute…

Tom can’t get over his breakup

In the cafeteria, Penelope is waiting in line with Tom. Since his breakup with Billie, the latter has not been in good spirits at all. He spends his time thinking about her and remembering memories. Penelope, who has already been there, assures him that the pain will eventually pass with time.

During Listrac class, Tom brings everything back to Billie. He goes so far as to vent about his breakup with his teacher. Penelope then suggests to Tom to push himself harder to move forward otherwise he will never get better.

After class, Penelope and Tom return to the cafeteria where Lionel is. Penelope takes him aside to explain her distress: she can no longer stand Tom being looped about his breakup with Billie. To help him, Lionel offers to join him and Thibault for a game of poker.

During the game, to the great chagrin of Pénélope, Tom and Thibault have the common point of going through a difficult breakup – one with Billie therefore, and the other with Jasmine who got into a relationship with her brother – so well that they continue to talk about it together.

Zacharie has a fit of jealousy

In the park, Hortense tells Laetitia that her plan to repel Stanislas did not work. On the contrary, he found her messy side very charming. For Hortense, the diagnosis is clear: Stanislas is falling in love with Laetitia. At the same time, Zacharie overhears snatches of their conversation. Laetitia ends up admitting to her boyfriend that Stanislas declared his love for her a few days earlier.

Very angry, Zacharie storms into Double A to confront Stanislas about this. Billie advises them to step aside to avoid making a show in front of customers. However, the young girl listens to their conversation. Stanislas apologizes to Zacharie, assuring that he should never have revealed his feelings to Laetitia and that he expects nothing from her. Reassured, Zacharie in turn apologizes for having come to give him a fit of jealousy. The pastry chef then begins to confide in his married life, admitting that it is not easy every day due to Laetitia’s egocentric and unpredictable behavior.

At the end of the service, Laetitia goes to Double A to find out from Billie what happened between Zacharie and Stanislas. The latter offers to tell her the story himself, emphasizing that he would have preferred that Laetitia keep the statement he made to her secret. He then suggests that Zacharie was a little too sincere in his speech, which intrigues Laetitia. Once the butler leaves, Billie repeats in detail to Laetitia everything she heard.

Deeply hurt, Laetitia returns home and confronts her companion. She criticizes him for having criticized her behind his back and therefore for having made her look like a raving madwoman to her teacher. She decides to kick him out.
