In the next episodes of Here it all begins … While Maxime and Teyssier want to bring down Louis, Guillaume is lost in front of his feelings. At the same time, Lisandro and Anaïs are reconciled but Hortense and Mehdi who tear each other apart.

Monday January 3 in Here everything begins …
MAXIME AND TEYSSIER COMBINE TO TAKE DOWN LOUIS
Still angry with Louis, Charlene reproaches him for having taken credit for his father’s work. As she refuses to hear the story of the abandoned son, Louis indicates that he did this only to keep his place at the institute. Although she resents him, the young woman manages to understand him and declares that she loves him.
For their part, Maxime, Mehdi and Hortense discuss the new pair that will represent the school in the competition for the best cooking school in France. While everyone wonders why Louis chose Enzo, the latter overhears their conversation and launches that even though he doesn’t have better grades than his comrade, he at least has his integrity. However, Maxime doubts it and lets him know.
Teyssier shares his doubts with Claire. Indeed, he finds it surprising that the son Armand has become a kitchen prodigy in his absence and supposes that he must have been helped by someone. Convinced by the talent of her son, Claire fiercely takes his defense.
Not far from there, Charlene has an idea to silence the rumors circulating about the new pair. As Anaïs ‘New Year’s Eve has fallen apart, she offers to organize it at her parents’ house so that Louis and Enzo can pretend to have become friends.
Later, Claire awkwardly questions her son about his dish of Saint-Jacques. As he takes it badly, the chef Guinot ends up telling him about Emmanuel’s suspicions and admits that he sowed a slight disorder in his mind before apologizing to him.
In the evening, the students meet at the Teyssiers’ to celebrate the end of the year and the sudden friendship between Louis and Enzo creates a lot of talk. When the spirits heat up, Enzo decides to provoke Maxime by openly mocking him. Exasperated, the latter, who is fed up with his jealousy, ends up insulting him and pushing him with force. The drop too much for Enzo who hits him with his fist in the face. Before he returns the favor, Emmanuel and Constance disembark and end the fight by sending everyone home.
After Constance took care of Maxime’s injury, Emmanuel took the opportunity to tell him about Louis. Convinced that he stole the recipe from Auguste, Teyssier asks for his help to prevent Louis from passing the competition.
Two days later, convinced by Teyssier’s words, Maxime finds him outside the institute in order to define a plan of attack. If the Delcourt son would like to get Enzo to denounce him, Emmanuel does not want to take the slightest risk and believes that Olivia could be a real asset. He hopes that the chef Listrac will agree to help them or even to dig into his stepson’s business if Maxime plays his game well.
Shortly after, Maxime meets Olivia and reveals to her that Louis used his father’s recipes to secure a place in the competition. The latter then tells him that Claire sent a trunk to Louis containing things from Augustus a few days earlier. Together, they therefore go to the Guinots to search the trunk. Unfortunately, they can’t find anything. While continuing their research in Louis’ room, Maxime finally gets his hands on Auguste’s notebook. When Claire returns home unexpectedly, he claims to have come to collect competition certificates won by Augustus at the director’s request.
Back at the institute, Maxime shows Enzo the recipe book and asks him to tell Teyssier the whole truth. But Enzo refuses, preferring to continue to protect his partner. He then hastens to warn the son Armand. However, the latter does not seem particularly worried and ensures that everything is under control.
At the same time, Maxime gives Teyssier the notebook. More than enough proof for everyone to know that Louis is an impostor.
GUILLAUME IS LOST TO HIS FEELINGS
In the morning, Guillaume tries to convince his wife to let Laetitia pass the interview for the post of assistant. Clotilde ends up accepting on the condition that he agrees to leave her if she gets the job.
Laetitia therefore passes the interview. Even though her CV is a bit light, she comes across as a serious and hard-working person. As Antoine declares that this is not going to be possible, the phone rings. Immediately, Laetitia takes the call and answers the questions of her interlocutor who seeks information on the entrance examination of the institute. A service that amazes Antoine who finally agrees to hire him.
Subsequently, the principal ensures with Guillaume and Clotilde that this will not cause any problem. For Chef Armand, it won’t matter as long as her husband holds his end of the bargain. The latter then confirms that he knows what to do.
Two days later, Laetitia begins in her new functions of assistant and takes advantage of Guillaume training her on software to ask her why he is being distant with her. At the foot of the wall, Guillaume tells her about the promise he made to Clotilde so that she gets the job. When Kelly’s mother suggests that he lie to his wife, he hesitates. Even if he hates lying to her, he still doesn’t feel capable of breaking up with Laetitia.
On returning, Guillaume confesses to Clotilde that he still has not left his mistress. Seeing him lost in front of his feelings, she questions him feverishly to find out if he still loves her. After he says yes, they kiss each other passionately before having a moment of intimacy.
ANAÏS AND LISANDRO RECONCILE
As Lisandro refuses to party with his friends, Anaïs is forced to cancel the New Year’s Eve party she had planned. Up against him, she is no longer sure that she did well to settle down with him. Insofar as her evening fell by the wayside, Anaïs decides to spend her end of the year working at double A. It is fine to judge that she is overreacting, Lisandro chooses to do the same out of love for her. .
During the service, Anaïs finally admits that her reaction was a bit excessive. After both admitting their wrongs, they reconcile. When Salomé arrives and tells that the Teyssiers have kicked them out, she tries to convince her companion to leave them home to continue the festivities. Although he refuses, the room teacher accepts however that they end the evening in the common room.
Without waiting, the students go there and then celebrate the end of the year with joy and good humor. Before the stroke of midnight, Eliott declares to Jasmine that he is very happy to start the year with her.
NOTHING GOES BETWEEN HORTENSE AND MEHDI
In pastry class, Zacharie asks his students to revisit vacherin, a great pastry classic. Unsurprisingly, Hortense and Mehdi team up but cannot agree on the recipe. Out of love for her, Mehdi follows her idea by starting with chocolate meringue and truffle ice cream.
Unfortunately, the combination of flavors does not please Chef Landiras at all, who says he is disappointed. Mehdi then reproaches his girlfriend for not having listened to him while the latter reminds him that there is no reason to follow his ideas all the time. When he points out that he is much better than her in this discipline, the injured young woman leaves the kitchens.
At the end of the course, Chef Landiras makes Mehdi understand that it would be more judicious for him to work with someone other than Hortense in order to perfect his learning. On the advice of his mentor, he therefore offers Deva to work with him. A culinary infidelity that Hortense does not appreciate. When Mehdi indicates that it might be better for them to stop working together for a while, Hortense accepts not without emotion.
