Here it all starts (spoilers): out of control, Teyssier still excludes a student

On June 17 in Here it all begins (TF1, 6:35 p.m.), Axel’s parents arrive at the Institute, Célia plans to leave and Teyssier still excludes a student…

In the episode ofHere it all starts from Friday, June 17, 2022, Philippe (François-Dominique Blin) and Lola (Sandra Valentin) Teyssier, parents of Axel (Thomas DaCosta), are visiting the Institute. Philippe expects to surprise his son strolling in the park, but Axel is at the studio with Jasmine and Salomé (Aurélie Pons). The young man has just failed his Grand Marnier frozen soufflé recipe for the fifth time and wonders if he will be able to pass the Institute competition. Jasmine is reassuring. If he fails the competition, they will choose another school. After all, she just got fired. While Jasmine is away to get a juicer, Axel’s parents enter the studio. Lola misunderstands and takes Salomé for her girlfriend, but Axel explains to her that Salomé is only a friend. His girlfriend is none other than Jasmine. By noticing his son’s failed soufflé, Philippe is unpleasant towards him and Axel is angry.

A little later, Salomé goes to see Axel in the park of the Institute. The latter recognizes that he should not have been angry with his father, but the dialogue is always difficult with him. Salomé advises him to go talk to her, to explain to her why he likes cooking and the Institute. Axel doesn’t see how that could fix things, but agrees to try. At the end of the day, he finds his parents over a drink and tries to establish a dialogue with his father. However, Philippe is not receptive. He is convinced that Axel has never liked cooking and only passes the competition because he does not want to take over the family business.

Célia wants to leave the Institute

At his father’s request, Théo (Khaled Alouach) announces to Célia (Rebecca Benhamour) that she will no longer be able to assist him at Double A. Indeed, Teyssier asked him to favor third-year students. Célia is understanding, until Theo tells her that Charlène (Pola Petrenko) has been chosen to replace her. She is convinced that the latter went to complain to her father. Théo assures her otherwise, but Célia is far from naive. In the kitchen, she directly confronts Charlène and the tone rises quickly between the two cooks. During the service, Célia decides not to add turnips to the broth recipe. Charlène asks him to follow the instructions to the letter, but the young Gaissac sends her plates anyway. Learning that Celia has taken liberties, Theo gets angry and Celia ends up leaving the kitchen.

On returning to the marshes, Theo apologizes to Célia. He knows he shouldn’t have talked to her like that in the kitchen, especially for a few turnips. Célia admits having changed the recipe to enrage Charlène, who confessed to her that she had gone to see Teyssier to steal the second job from him. But basically, the problem is not really there. Célia admits to wanting to leave the Institute, to move elsewhere with him to learn other ways of working. Théo, who has never thought of leaving Double A, is skeptical, but Célia points out to him that elsewhere, he would not only be the son of Chief Teyssier. He would finally be recognized for his cooking.

Amber gets fired

The pastry test for the first-year students is about to start, but Ambre (Claire Morin) has decided not to go. She feels guilty for having caused the dismissal of Jasmine (Zoï Severin), Tom (Tom Darmon) and Deva (Kathy Packianathan) and for not having defended them in front of Teyssier (Benjamin Baroche). Kelly (Axelle Dodier) points out to her that she probably couldn’t have done anything. Besides, her punishing herself won’t change Teyssier’s decision. In the end, the young woman agrees to go to the pastry test and passes her dessert hands down. But during the tasting, things degenerate. Noting that Amber has passed her test, Teyssier points out to her that she did not need to eliminate the competition. Provoked, Amber replies and goes so far as to insult Teyssier as a sociopath and a sadist. Without waiting, Teyssier in turn expelled him from the Institute.

After Amber’s dismissal, Antoine (Frédéric Diefhental) and Clotilde (Elsa Lunghini) find Teyssier in his office. Exasperated, they ask the director to reconsider his crazy decisions, but Teyssier issues a categorical refusal. For him, the entire promotion was a casting mistake. For her part, Amber finds Jasmine, Tom and Deva in the park of the Institute and tells them what happened during the pastry test. Jasmine sympathizes, but not Tom and Deva. They are still angry with Amber for having provoked their exclusion. Wounded, Amber goes to isolate herself at home. Jasmine joins her and tries to reassure her. She is convinced that Tom and Deva know they are at fault but are just showing bad faith.

Later, Tom announces to Jasmine, Ambre and Deva that he has an idea to force Teyssier to reinstate them: make a montage of all the times Teyssier went too far and show his methods to the whole of France. Jasmine, Amber and Deva accept. A little further on, Charlène overhears the end of their conversation and hastens to go talk to Louis (Fabian Wolfrom). She’s sure the first years are up to something against her dad and is intent on finding out what…
