Greg returns to the Institute
Jasmine prepares herself psychologically to accompany the Teyssiers to identify the body that has been found by the police. At the same time, Greg arrives at the roommate to support his son’s mother. He is thus informed of the latest news.
On the way to the morgue, Jasmine breaks down. She doesn’t feel capable. Emmanuel is there to reassure her. Lola and Philippe come back, declaring that the body that was found is not Axel’s.
Meanwhile, Greg and Eliott take care of Naël in the park of the Institute. Eliott takes the opportunity to introduce Thibault to Greg. The latter finds him suspicious, while Eliott believes that he is simply trying to help them.
For their part, Emmanuel, Charlène and Théo are still just as worried about Axel. The body that the police found is that of a friend of the train driver, whose presence on board had not been reported. As for the driver, he is still in a coma.
Jasmine, meanwhile, finds Greg and Eliott in the park. Thibault comes back to see them to warn them that one of the country clinics he had contacted the day before has just called him back. They admitted a young man whose description matches that of Axel except that he was filed under another name. He has since been transferred to Nîmes hospital.
Accompanied by Eliott, Jasmine hurries to warn the Teyssiers. Meanwhile, Greg holds Thibault back to warn him. He hopes he didn’t give Jasmine false hope. Thibault defends himself by saying that he simply wants Axel to be found. But Greg suspects him of having other motives concerning Jasmine.
Lola, Philippe, Emmanuel and Jasmine go to the hospital together. They find Axel, who was still unconscious about an hour ago. He’s fine except for a slight headache. All his relatives are relieved. Quickly, Axel tries to find out if there were any other injuries during the accident. Emmanuel therefore speaks to him about Enzo and Joachim. After which, Jasmine gets closer to Axel and takes his hand, admitting that she missed him.
Surrounded by his loved ones, Axel is gradually picking up the thread. When asked about his memories of the accident, he admits it’s a bit fuzzy. After the shock, he remembers landing in the forest, where the silhouette of a man who picked him up and then dropped him off at a clinic. Even if it sounds crazy, Axel thinks it was Auguste Armand…
Enzo is operated
At the hospital, Vic is still at Enzo’s bedside. The latter asks him to distract his parents by showing them around the Institute during his operation. She agrees, on the condition that she tell them the truth about their relationship. But Enzo wants to make the joke last a little longer to reassure his mother. He promises Vic that he will tell him that they broke up and decided to stay friends once the operation is over. Vic agrees.
As promised, Vic gives Malia and Djibril a tour of the Institute. They meet Billie, who is immediately made aware of the misunderstanding. As soon as Enzo’s parents return to the hospital, Billie suggests that Vic be careful with this lie. Indeed, she is still convinced that Enzo has a crush on her. But Vic says otherwise.
When Enzo wakes up, still under the euphoric effects of the drugs, his parents are at his hair. Vic does not take long to join them. Seeing her, Enzo compliments her on her beauty, then compares her to a ray of sunshine, before telling her that he loves her. Malia then gives her permission for Vic to kiss her son. A little embarrassed, the young girl plays along and gives Enzo a kiss, who ends up falling asleep again.
Later, Malia, Djibril and Vic are waiting for the doctor in the hallway. When he arrives, it’s not to give them good news. The operation did not sufficiently reduce the hematoma. Enzo will therefore have to undergo a new operation in a few months. Until then, he will have to do rehabilitation sessions. The doctor adds that this second operation should cure him, but he specifies that there is always a risk that it will not be sufficient and that Enzo will never walk again.
Clotilde fears the worst
Rose goes to see her sister in the hospital. She spent the night at Joachim’s bedside. Clotilde is worried because even if the doctors have lifted the sedation, her companion still does not wake up. Rose encourages her to return home to rest, change and have a bite to eat.
Once at home, Clotilde calls Marta. She is also very worried about Joachim. Before returning to the hospital, Clotilde breaks down and bursts into tears.
At the hospital, Clotilde discovers that Joachim’s room is empty. She starts to panic until he appears. He woke up in her absence, then had a CT scan. He is now out of danger. Clotilde cries with relief.
Back home, Clotilde and Joachim remain curled up in each other’s arms on the sofa. In the meantime, they have heard from Axel, who has been found. They are relieved.
