High Fidelity: After only one season it's over

The US series "High Fidelity" is canceled after only one season. Lead actress Zoë Kravitz is more than sad about it.

On Valentine's Day 2020 the US streaming service Hulu started broadcasting the first season of "High Fidelity". Now the end of the series is sealed, as reported by "The Hollywood Reporter". There will be no further episodes, although the creators had actually planned several seasons and the series was well received by both critics and audiences. On the well-known international critic portal "Rotten Tomatoes", the response rate among the professionals is 86 percent, among the viewers 82 percent.

Zoë Kravitz thinks this is "caustic"

The series was the reinterpretation of the comedy film "High Fidelity" from 2000 with John Cusack (54). The cult film adaptation of the novel of the same name by author Nick Hornby (63) is one of the best love comedies of the 2000s. Lisa Bonet (52) also starred in the film. Their daughter Zoë Kravitz (31, "Big Little Lies") took the lead in the series reboot.

Zoë Kravitz reacted to the series end on Instagram. For a series of photos from the filming of the series, she thanks her "High Fidelity" family for all the love and passion that she has put into the series. Thanks also to everyone who "viewed, loved and supported" the series. The hashtag at the end gives an insight into their mood: "#breakupssuck", in German about "Separations are caustic".
