Previously unknown perpetrators tricked a 29-year-old from Pinzgau into making several payments on a cryptocurrency trading platform. They promised high profits.
However, there were never any distributions of profits. The Salzburg resident had transferred a mid-double-digit euro amount in several tranches over a period of around a month. Police inquiries are ongoing.
