Before giving birth to a trilogy World of Assassination full of qualities, IO Interactive developed other opuses of his saga Hitmanwhich debuted as a reminder in 2000 with Hitman: Codename 47. The hitman clone was still bald, and already wearing his iconic costume.
L’Agent 47 will return soon, but not in video games. Laced Records announces that he will produce vinyls of the original soundtracks of the first two parts, Hitman: Codemane 47 and Hitman 2: Silent Assassin. Music composed by Jesper Kyd, with 12 tracks for the first game and 20 for the second. Daniel Weisz signed artwork unpublished and collectors will be able to fall for limited editions 2LP bi-color, black & white and green & white for Hitman: Codename 47 and black & white, deep red & gold for Hitman 2: Silent Assassin. In addition to this, original packaging will be included, with a sealed box bearing the words “Classified”, your mission (if you accept it) will be to tear it as carefully as possible upon opening.
More classic black discs are also offered, still at the price of $38, excluding shipping, and you will have to wait until February 2024 to get your hands on these new vinyls. You can find the trilogy Hitman: World of Assassination has €49.99 on Amazon.
