With the 20 years of the first film and the special program around this anniversary, we are currently immersed in full nostalgia around the saga. Harry potter, with all the same eyes riveted on the future and the exit of Hogwarts Legacy. The studio in charge of the project has promised to give us some news this year, and nothing more normal than that, given that the game is scheduled for 2022. Warner had already more or less confirmed that it should not be waited for. for this spring, but rather the end of the year, and if we already began to fear a postponement in 2023, an insider has given us a little hope.
A release before the end of the year?

Relatively new in the industry, AccountNGT cut his teeth by revealing Star Wars Eclipse a few days before the trailer released at the Game Awards. This feat of arms is obviously not enough to induce blind trust, but it is interesting to see what he has to say about Hogwarts Legacy, as long as his sources at Warner are as good as those at Quantic Dream.
He then indicates that Avalanche Software is currently looking for a producer for the localization of the game., which shows that development is not at a standstill, and especially that Sumo Digital (Sackboy: A Big Adventure) would have come to lend a hand to the project. A help which would have been very beneficial according to the insider, who then declares to know a date, with an exit which could be closer than one thinks. In another tweet, he then speaks of a possible outing during the summer.
We will obviously take these words with a grain of salt, pending confirmation from Warner Bros.. Since the game hasn’t reappeared for over a year, it’s still hard to imagine the current state of the project, but we hope to see it again at a future PlayStation Showcase.
Hogwarts Legacy will be released on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series.
