Hogwarts Legacy delays its Switch version to November 14

With the game recently released on the PS4 and Xbox One, it would have been hard to imagine a further postponement. Nevertheless, Hogwarts Legacy sees its Switch version pushed back a few months. Scheduled for July 25, it is now for November 14 that the title of Avalanche Software is finally dated. Obviously, if the port is not yet delayed, or even canceled for the Nintendo console.

The reasons given for this new delay have not changed. The goal is to deliver the cleanest experience possible, forcing developers to take extra time to make sure everything runs smoothly. As with the PS4 and Xbox One versions, the title should benefit from many changes. Nothing major for the story, but some elements of scenery redesigned to lighten the whole.

It’s a job that seems colossal for the Switch, Hogwarts Legacy taking advantage of an immense universe and sometimes very worked details. If it seems unlikely that the port will be canceled, a new postponement seems possible. However, those extra 3 months might also prove to be enough to provide a decent experience.
