Hogwarts Legacy: Weasley and Sebastian Sallow, more info on the twins of the game!

New information about Hogwarts Legacy Hogwarts Legacy on a Monday night? The answer is yes. Warner Bros. Games and Avalanche Software aren’t changing how they communicate, but just don’t seem to have specific time slots to reveal any further details about the Harry Potter RPG. After the advice delivered by a mysterious game guide, then showing us unpublished images of Peeves and the Zonko store, today’s tweet is dedicated to Sebastian Sallow. The opportunity for us to remind you that he and his sister are not the only pair of twins in the game…

We know more about Sebastian Sallow and… his twin sister!

A key character in the Hogwarts Legacy scenario, Sebastian is a Slytherin student who appears in almost all of the game’s official communications: trailers, promotional images, quests… We hear a lot about him and his dark story. Even today, a tweet dedicated to him has just been published. Who is he really? Here is what we know about this Sebastian Sallow (Pallow in French):

  • Student of Slytherin
  • Probably in 5th year like our avatar,
  • It will be possible to make a optional quest of “companion” with him: we already know the scenario of this quest thanks to previous information about him. It will be necessary to investigate his past (there is doubt: is he an heir of Salazar Slytherin ? If so, it would be a shame to have him renamed “Pallow” in French because we would then forget his initials SS). During the quest, we can explore dangerous places like caves and dungeons and choose whether or not to learn the Unforgivable Spells (black magic).
  • Now we also know that he has a twin sister whose name is Anne : we saw it in the gameplay trailer of the game (State of Play). In this same video, we also see what appears to be their father.
  • French translation : Sebastian is a charming, outgoing boy whose twin sister, Anne, suffers from a mysterious debilitating curse. Sebastian is convinced that his last hope for a cure lies in dark magic and he is determined to find it.

We’ve known it for some time now, Slytherin student Sebastian seems to hide a heavy inheritance. In the gamescom trailer it explicitly says “The more we know about Salazar Slytherin and Dark Arts, the better prepared we will be.” This very important character for the story will probably be the one who will lead us to this dark magic and encourage us to learn some unforgivable spells like the famous Avada Kedavra that we see at the end of the State of Play gameplay trailer.

For his part, the professor who accompanies you during the Back to Hogwarts is totally against this idea of using the forces of evil. “If I see you using it, I’ll notify the Headmaster immediately!” In a kind of cave/dungeon, Sebastian then wants to teach the “Crucio” spell (Crucio in French) to our protagonist (here a Hufflepuff girl with brown hair). This is one of the three unforgivable spells, that of the unbearable pain that, for example, Belatrix Lestrange inflicted on Neville’s parents in the saga.

Later in the trailer, we see that Sebastian manages to open a secret room whose door is decorated with snakes just like the chamber of secrets. Does that mean he can speak Parseltongue and that he is therefore an heir of Salazar Slytherin?

Not the only twins in the game!

If I tell you Weasley ? You are of course thinking of Ron, Ginny or even the inseparable pranksters Fred and George of course! But did you know that in Hogwarts Legacy we were going to be able to meet ancestors of the Weasley family, also twins? It’s in the Official PlayStation Blog March 2022 that this information can be found. The official Community Manager likes to drop some juicy details of the genre and makes it clear that familiar faces will be at Hogwarts like “a Weasley…or two”.

With the storyline taking place 100 years before the adventures of Harry, Ron and Hermione, it makes sense that we might come across ancestors of well-known characters and, with a bit of luck, we might be able to witness the return to Hogwarts from Albus Dumbledore on September 1, 1892 (the game is set in 1890).

It’s hard to say if the Weasley twins from 1890 have already appeared on screen, but some red-haired characters from Gryffindor house are visible in the game’s trailers: one of them may be part of it!
