Ligue 1: OL wins again and continues to dream of Europe

Olympique Lyonnais struggled to win on the Clermont pitch on the 33rd and penultimate day of Ligue 1 (1-0). Put in difficulty, the Lyonnais escaped thanks to a goal at the very start of the second half (53′). This goal was the work of Orel Mangala, who scored on a magnificent piece of work from Rayan Cherki with a decisive pass. This is the Belgian’s second achievement with Les Gones. OL took advantage of Lens’ draw against Rennes to return to equal points with the northern club. With a match late, OM are in ambush and could pass both clubs in the event of a victory in their late match against Reims. For its part, Clermont is officially relegated to Ligue 2 after this defeat.
