It had been a while since the game had been heard from, and the last Nintendo Indie World was not the occasion to have any. Expected for the first half of 2023 since the Xbox 2022 conference, we will finally have to wait a little longer. Hollow Knight: Silksong has been pushed back, with no new release date or window. An announcement which will not be surprising, but which allows to break the silence a little.
We also learn very little about the game, except that it would be much more important than expected. In order for the experience to be as complete and enjoyable as possible, the decision was made to delay the release of silk song. We can thus hope that this postponement avoids too big a period of crunch for the Team Cherry teams. But we especially hope that this will be an opportunity to polish the title so that its launch is as healthy as possible.
Now fixed at an unknown date, Hollow Knight: Silksong is planned for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Series and Nintendo Switch. It will also be present in the Game Pass from its launch. All that remains is to be patient, and wait for news from Team Cherry to, perhaps, have a date.
