The cat is out of the bag: the Swiss national team’s jerseys were presented two and a half months before the start of the European Championship.

The home jersey is traditional. “In addition to the red, the edelweiss flower graphic, inspired by traditional Swiss costume, combines the country’s cultural heritage with its alpine elegance,” writes the SFV in a statement.

The white away jersey is “inspired by the Jungfraujoch and the highest train station in Europe. The design represents the fusion of the country’s unique beauty and technical excellence.”

Pierluigi Tami, director of the Swiss national team, emphasizes: “The new shirts draw and contain many elements of our wonderful country and at the same time are an expression of our team’s internal motto for the European Championships: ‘We are Switzerland’.”

The jerseys from manufacturer Puma are now available in stores.
