Homeless person gets into a combine harvester – mortal danger

In a grain field near Karlsruhe, a homeless person was hit by a combine harvester and seriously injured. As the police announced on Monday, according to initial findings, the 44-year-old was lying on the ground between the approximately one and a half meters high grain stalks when he was hit by the machine.

According to the police, the driver (62) suddenly noticed an arm sticking out of the grain while he was working. The farmer stopped immediately, but the combine harvester pushed the man a few meters ahead of it. He was taken care of by the ambulance service and taken to a clinic with life-threatening injuries.
