As we mentioned in our test, available just above, Horizon Forbidden West is a very good game, but there are still some systems that are a bit nebulous and/or not very pleasant to use. Weapons and armor
Horizon Forbidden West tries to look like an A-RPG, with evolution principles based on the recovery of various equipment. From the beautiful armor of the native tribes of the Deep West, to the most sophisticated weapons of the lands of Gaia, the index below will be updated very regularly to provide you with as much information as possible on the entire “equipment” dimension of HFW. More specific guides, linked to certain well-known instruments, will also appear over time. Note that crafting is not necessarily very complicated in the game, but there are still some tips to make life even easier: you will find them, eventually, in the collection of guides below.
Machines, mounts
They are the real stars after Aloy: as in Monster Hunter, the bestiary of Horizon Forbidden West holds a prominent place in the adventure. Their reactions and the spectacular fights they allow you to witness, is really one of the strong points of this new opus. In our machine sheets you will find loot tables, weaknesses and elements likely to go into a chain reaction on all the mechanical cast.
Exploration, tips
The Forbidden West is a land of countless opportunities and navigating the environment comfortably is going to have to be one of your priorities, if you plan to find your way around easily and make the most of all that the new Guerrilla Games has to offer.
