Like every week, the Syndicate of Leisure Software Publishers introduces us to the French Charts. Here is the ranking of the best selling games in physical format.
After several weeks of domination of the charts by Kirby, Nintendo’s pink ball finally cedes its throne. Aloy gets the crown. Horizon Forbidden West can boast of being the best sellers of the week in France, and in its PS5 version. We’re not going to lie to you, PS5 games are not yet legion to appear in the rankings. You already know this, but it is always complicated to be able to get your hands on a PS5 because of the shortages.
The appearance of PS5 titles therefore leads us to believe that the installed base is beginning to expand. Behind the game of Guerrilla, Nintendo unfolds. Second place in the charts therefore goes to the stainless Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. We didn’t count, but it’s probably the title that has spent the most time in the top 5 in recent years. Finally, the last step of the podium goes to Pokémon Legends: Arceus.
The chocolate medal is for Kirby and the Forgotten World that wasn’t going to come off the charts through the back door. Finally, the top 5 of the week is closed by FIFA 22 in its PS4 version, proof that football remains a safe bet.
On the PC side, The Sims 4 standard edition takes the gold medal (proof of its long-term success), followed by Farming Simulator 22 which is still a big hit. The top three is completed by Elden Ring in its Launch Edition.
