We are now only a month away from the launch ofHorizon Forbidden West on PS5 and PS4, so it is completely normal that Sony Interactive Entertainment and Guerrilla Games show us more about him. In recent weeks, different types of machine that we will meet in theWest Prohibited as well as various Tribes were therefore entitled to videos and visuals to impress us and tickle our curiosity. Now make way for a more traditional trailer centered on the scenario of this sequel.
This preview tells us a lot more about the journey ahead aloy, she who will go to theWest Prohibited in order to find a way to fight against the scourge ravaging the land. It will not be a piece of cake since she will have to fight against many threats, starting with the Tribe Directed by Regalla (Angela Bassett), a warrior ready to kill anyone who gets in her way and who hates Carjas, as mentioned in an article by Game Informer. However, the trailer indicates that it obeys a higher power… namely Sylens (Lance Reddick), that the players of Zero Dawn know well and who therefore serves his own purposes in this region by arming these rebels and allowing them to control the machines.
Fortunately, aloy can count on Erend and Varl throughout his epic, who will play a decisive role and will spend a lot of time with us. New characters will also join her, such as Kotallo, a proud and loyal warrior of the Tribe from Tenakths, whose story will be very personal and intimately linked to our heroine’s journey; Alva, a brilliant and curious young woman from a mysterious Tribe, and the singer Zo with a tragic past.
As a teasing, the end of the video shows us GAIA talking to aloy telling her they’re not the only ones looking for answers, then introduces a mysterious woman called Tilda, whose role is performed in English by Carrie-Anne Moss (Matrix) and which has a special connection with the past. Several visuals were also shared, including an illustration showing all these faces mentioned above and also some Hecarro, who is the head of Tenakths according to PlayStation-Blog.
Horizon Forbidden West is expected on February 18 and can be pre-ordered on Amazon from €57.99.
