Horizon: The multiplayer project announced by Guerilla could be released on mobile

Just two months ago, Guerilla Games shared on their account Twitter the publication of several job offers, thus confirming the development of a multiplayer game in the Horizon universe. Since then, the studio hasn’t shared any new information, but a recent job posting has recently come up with some new theories about the game, including which platforms it might be available on.

The Horizon multiplayer game ported to mobile?

Like its predecessors, Horizon: Zero Dawn and Horizon: Forbidden West, we can expect the Horizon-based multiplayer game to be available on PlayStation when it releases, then possibly on PC afterwards, as was the case for the first opus. However, it could also be released on mobile devices. In any case, this is what a job offer recently published by Guerilla Games suggests. The company is indeed looking for a Game Writer who would have ” delivered at least one story-rich mobile game, or spent at least one year in a AAA studio “.

Of course, nothing has been confirmed and nothing is certain as to the future of this future game on mobile. Nevertheless, Sony recruited a manager of the mobile division about two years ago, thus showing its desire to carry their licenses on smartphones. This offer could therefore just as well announce the arrival on the phone of other flagship games from the American studio..

We’ll have to wait a while longer before we know more, but in the meantime you can still enjoy Horizon Forbidden West on PS4 and PS5, or even dive back into Horizon Zero Dawn.
