As every year, the “Wellness Heaven” website has chosen the best wellness hotels. Hotel testers nominated 104 hotels, from which users selected the best hotels. Here come the five winners.

Best spa: “Lindenhof Lifestyle DolceVita Resort” near Merano

The new “DolceVita Resort Lindenhof” near Merano emerged as the winner in the “Best Spa” category. The wellness area is over 5,000 m², the garden offers wonderful oases of calm, as well as the numerous sun terraces and themed relaxation rooms – all with a great panoramic view of the Vinschgau. In the ArtSPA, guests can let themselves be pampered and try out the new “Wave Balance” applications – massages to the rhythm of the waves. During the health weeks, guests can take back fitness and fascia courses, and tours with racing bikes and mountain bikes are offered all year round. And you can also get professional guidance on hiking, fitness and yoga. The icing on the cake: The Lindenhof even offers sleeping in the open air!

Best cuisine: “Bergkristall – My Resort in the Allgäu” near Oberstaufen

The Bergkristall resort is located on a dreamy hillside on the outskirts of Oberstaufen, embedded in a wonderful mountain panorama with a view of the Allgäu, Austrians and, if the view is clear, the Swiss mountains. In the panorama restaurant with a view of the local mountain “Hochgrat”, healthy, local delicacies and international cuisine are served at the highest level. Guests can also book a detox holiday with the original Oberstaufen Schroth cure. Wellness and service leave nothing to be desired.

The Reischlhof in the Bavarian Forest has received several awards: The Vartaführer awarded the 4-star superior wellness hotel three diamonds, the Relax-Guide named it one of the 10 best wellness hotels in Germany. The new water world of the huge spa has it all: 20-meter outdoor pool, indoor pool with relaxation areas, relaxation hot pool with precious stone water and massage zones, hot whirlpool with mountain spring water and a sky brine whirlpool on the roof terrace. The huge wellness area offers 19 themed relaxation rooms, a beauty department with over 200 treatments and a sauna area. And the exclusive room categories range from the Almsuite to the Sky Suite with a private spa with whirlpool and Finnish sauna.
