House of the Dragon on OCS: what are the dragons of the Game of Thrones spin-off?

The waltz of the dragons will take place in House of the Dragon! Find out which creatures will surely be present in the Game of Thrones spin-off.

The first Game of Thrones spin-off to see the light of day, House of the Dragon is a prequel series that tells part of the story of the Targaryens. Roughly 170 years before the events of the show phenomenon, we witness the beginning of the fall of House Targaryen and the wars of succession to the Iron Throne being played out.

The episodes of the series will take us to the famous civil war called “The Dance of the Dragons”, which involves, as its name suggests, dragons. The noble family descended from Valyri lived for decades in Dragonstone, riding dragons in preparation for Aegon the Conqueror’s conquest of the Seven Kingdoms.

We were promised more dragons in House of the Dragon – 17 in total! – so here are the creatures we saw and are sure to see in the spin-off.
