The How I Met Your Mother spin-off How I Met Your Father has just received its first trailer. In it we see the “Sex and the City” actress Kim Catrall.

The first trailer for the “How I Met Your Mother” spin-off “How I Met Your Father” has just been released. In it, Kim Catrall (“Sex and the City”) can not only be heard, but also seen as the older version of the main character Sophie.
In the mother’s series, Bob Saget (“Full House”) spoke to older Ted, but he was not seen. Josh Radnor also played the older version of his character.
The reactions of the fans to the first trailer were mostly negative. As one fan wrote on YouTube: “What was good about HIMYM was the chemistry between the actors and the group of friends. This group of friends seems like an annoying cliché of what millennials are”
Another wrote, “HIMYM is like real life and we watch the story like a friend of Ted … and this is like a sitcom and everything is forced to make us laugh and not look real … me I do not know.”
And a third commented, “I have a feeling that HIMYM worked in part because the cast all looked pretty normal and believable, like you could meet people in any city who look like the main cast. The new cast they all look like the boring, super good-looking LA actors. ”
We will find out from January 18, 2022 whether the negative reactions are justified. Then “How I Met Your Father” will be shown on US streaming service Hulu.
