Here is a scale which does not change, year after year, since 2013. A circular from the Cnav sets the cost of a retirement payment, in short a quarter buyout, made in 2024: the scale remains identical to last year and over the last 10 years.
“A decree specifies for each year, the scale of payments applicable to insured persons aged at least 20 and less than 67 years on the date of the request for [versement pour la retraite, nom officiel d’un rachat de trimestre, NDLR]. If this decree has not been published by January 1, the scale of the previous year remains applicable. ” In his circular of January 17, the National Old Age Insurance Fund (Cnav) reiterates the rule: in the absence of a decree, the scale of the cost of a quarter buyout is unchanged.
Gold the last decree dates from 2012 to set the scale for the year 2013. Only the income thresholds change, indexed to the Social Security ceiling. Here is the scale in effect in 2024.

As a reminder, up to 12 quarters can be repurchased, the operation is fiscally attractive for the year of repurchase, and two options coexist: the redemption based on rate alonewhere the redemption for the rate and duration of insurance.
The rate-only buyback option is the least expensive: it allows those who will not reach the full rate age to increase their current rate. Objective to limit the discount or even cancel it by accessing the full rate more quickly.
The option for the rate and duration of insurance affects the rate but also allows you to increase the number of quarters counted in the duration of insurance. So not only avoid the discount but also increase the amount of your pension.
