Howard Carpendale talks about his marriage
Howard Carpendale, 77, has been with Donnice for 39 years Pierce is dating and they tied the knot in 2018. A decision that the singer does not regret at all. “It’s incredibly beautiful. In the past five years, not a single bad word has been said between us, even though we are together virtually around the clock,” Carpendale reveals in an interview with “Bild”.
We have a harmonious, beautiful marriage. This is really great. The problems Donnice had before were over from one day to the next. She’s walking through the supermarket today, sees all the bottles left and right and says: ‘Terrible.’
During the interview with the publication, the 77-year-old also made a touching declaration of love to his wife: “I tell her very often: ‘You’re in my body.’ Donnice is a part of me.” The song “The Greatest Happiness in the World” on his new album “Let’s Do It Again” [erscheint am 13. Oktober 2023, Anm. d. Red.] is still not dedicated to her. ““I’ve only dedicated one song lyric to her in all these years, on our wedding day,” explains Howard Carpendale. “The songs on my albums have no personal background.”
