The number 1 suspect in the investigation of episode 6 of season 3 of “HPI”, which is broadcast this Thursday evening on TF1, is embodied by an actor whose voice may not be unknown to you since he dubbed Vin Diesel.
In episode 6 of season 3 of HPI, broadcast this Thursday evening on TF1, Morgane and Karadec will investigate a new murder which will prove to be much more complex than it seems. They must indeed find the murderer of Adèle Mercier, a seemingly uneventful mother, who was shot between the eyes.
Over the course of the investigation, the Lille DIPJ will suspect David Diallo, a criminal who served several months in prison a few years ago because of Adèle. Doudou Masta dubbed a great American actor
Originally from Vitry-sur-Seine, Doudou Masta is a French rapper and actor who began his career as an actor by dubbing the Maasai Chief in Arthur and Les Minimoys. He also dubbed Moto-Moto, the flirty hippopotamus from Madagascar 2, alongside José Garcia, Jean-Paul Rouve and Marina Foïs.
If the actor then cut his teeth in front of the camera, notably in Case Départ and the Netflix series The Revolution, he is mainly known for having lent his voice to a great American actor for the time of a film.
In 2008, Doudou Masta indeed doubled Vin Diesel in the film Babylon AD But following this experience, the young man preferred to concentrate on his profession as an actor, appearing in Case Départ, Braquo or even the Netflix series La Révolution.
“I realized that these voice roles were interfering with my acting roles,” he confided during a interview. “When I arrived at the casting I was told: ‘It’s weird you have someone else’s voice…'”
“There, I explained that I had dubbed Vin Diesel in Babylon AD, and I was answered: ‘That’s it! You have the voice of Vin Diesel, in fact, so it’s not going to do it.. ‘Except that no… it was my voice, mine!! […] I didn’t have certain roles because of my atypical voice.”
Doudou Masta therefore now pays more attention to his choices in terms of dubbing. Perhaps that is why he chose to devote himself fully to his acting career after these experiences. It was only this year that the comedian made his comeback behind the microphone by lending his voice to Spencer Wilding in the film Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Thieves.
