Huawei also puts widgets in the spotlight, like competing systems which now offer the possibility of customizing them, in shape and color, and adding text to them. Still in the area of information organization, HarmonyOS 3 allows widgets to be superimposed to save space and to create groups of application icons and widgets.

In addition to its aesthetic novelties, HarmonyOS 3 promises to put more emphasis on the protection of privacy and offers a dedicated dashboard. New options avoid the sharing of sensitive information that accompanies photographs, such as their location and date of shooting.
