On December 10th – Human Rights Day – we all become scarf ambassadors and take a stand against wars. Together with you we want to bring hope into the world.
Children on the run have the right to special protection and assistance. But especially in forgotten crises like the war in… Children in Syria have to fight for survival every day; they have not known peace for more than twelve years. That’s why it’s so important that on December 10th we draw everyone’s attention to children’s rights with the “Scarf for Life” and show solidarity with them.
Together with “Save The Children“ and many prominent supporters like Guido Maria KretschmerEmily Cox, Cem Özdemir, Cornelia Funke and Oliver Mommsen We draw attention to the situation of Syrian children and collect donations for local work.
And that – thanks to you! – very successful: an incredible 2.8 million euros have been raised over the past ten years. Our scarf – Designer Guido Maria Kretschmer designed it this year – is the hallmark of a large community of people that has grown over the years and who continue to support the most vulnerable victims of the Syrian war.

This is how you can be there on the day of the action!
Be there too and wear on December 10th. the scarf for life. On the day of the campaign, many people posted pictures with their “scarf for life” under the hashtag #SchalfürsLeben and spread the campaign via their social media channels. From every wool package and every scarf purchased, 10 euros are donated to the work of “Save the Children” in Syria and neighboring countries.
