Hunt: Showdown: Leaderboards temporarily removed – Hunt: Showdown

A major update is coming this July 13 on Hunt: Showdownbringing a plethora of improvements and balancing. But this update, 1.9, will remove a key feature, the leaderboards. Crytek has indeed explained, in a short publication that after having studied the feedback from the community, but also according to what they hoped for at the start, the current iteration of the ranking system was going to be removed.

Although this is an important feature of Hunt: Showdown, used by many players, this version did not reflect the developers’ idea of the leaderboard. This is, in part, due to the emphasis on the KDA ratio at the expense of performance, whether solo or in a group. In fact, the studio will deactivate the feature and rework it in the coming weeks, to offer us a better version.

Based on several factors, including feedback we’ve received from the community, we believe now is the best time to disable this feature while we work on a better solution.

We don’t yet know when the leaderboard will return to Hunt: Showdown, but Crytek will let us know more in due course. In the meantime, players can take advantage of update 1.9, deployed this July 13 in the early afternoon.
