(Boursier.com) — Hunyvers a specialist in the distribution of leisure vehicles, has finalized the acquisition of the pleasure boat distributor Groupe LBC Nautic which will be integrated into its consolidation scope from November 1st.
Created in 1978, LBC Nautic Group brings together the entities LBC Distribution and LBC Charter. Its team of 25 people is spread across 4 sites, 3 of which are directly at the ports of La Baule/Le Pouliguen and 1 store in La Baule/Pornichet. Specializing in the sale of new and used boats, the group also offers a range of 360o services (maintenance, repair, security, license training, fittings and spare parts, financing and insurance solutions), backed by a high-end positioning.
For its last financial year, ended September 30, Groupe LBC Nautic achieved a turnover estimated at 13 million eurosgrowing by around 19% compared to its previous financial year.
In terms of profitability, LBC Nautic Group displays a operating margin already in line with company standards. This margin will be expected to increase in the medium term thanks to the contribution of expertise from Hunyvers, relying on its centralized services platform and the effects of critical size vis-à-vis suppliers and financing organizations.
The finalization of this acquisition marks the third operation in 3 years for Hunyvers in the nautical sector (after the acquisitions of Groupe Nautic in 2020 then of Marine Plaisance Service in spring 2023). It illustrates “the Group’s voluntary strategy in this market offering solid prospects for growth and profitability”.
