Recover a text message or conversation with the Messages app
While you were on your iPhone, you accidentally deleted a conversation in your Messages app. As a reminder, this daily essential includes SMS messages sent and received, as well as iMessages, iPhone messages. Choose to delete forever or recover your messages

Be careful though, this tip has some limitations. First of all, you can only recover data deleted in the last 30-40 days. After this period, the messages and conversations will be permanently deleted and you will no longer be able to find them.
