“I Grew Up With Ninja Turtles”: Seth Rogen Talks Ninja Turtles Teenage Years and Reveals His Favorite Pizza!

AlloCiné met Seth Rogen, producer of Ninja Turtles Teenage Years and voice of the mutant warthog Bebop! If you want to know what the actor’s favorite pizza is, it’s in our interview! (made before the strike in Hollywood)

The Ninja Turtles Teenage Years hook sets the tone: “By the eternal teenager Seth Rogen !” The actor, who lends his voice to Bebop, the mutant warthog, is above all one of the producers of the film!

Fans of the first hour, Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg couldn’t get over being offered Ninja Turtles Teenage Years by Brian Robbins, CEO of Paramount and Nickelodeon.

“To be honest, no one has ever offered us to start from such a strong license to imagine a film”, acknowledges Goldberg. These two longtime friends have written and produced numerous comedies, such as SuperGrave, Délire Express, C’est la fin and Sausage Party.

On the occasion of the release of the animated film on August 9, AlloCiné met part of the voice cast: Seth Rogen (Bebop), Ice Cube (the villainous Superfly) and Ayo Edebiri (April O’Neil). What immediately appealed to Seth Rogen in this project was to look at the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

The artist saw in it the opportunity to make a film with a real adolescent spirit, breaking all the rules, overturning the codes and imagining a whole new approach. In addition, Point Gray Pictures, which he founded with Evan Goldberg, regularly produces teen films, such as Parental Controls and Good Boys.

“I played my first role, as a teenager, in the series freaks and geeks. Then we wrote SuperGrave. I believe that a good part of my career is intimately linked to teenage movies. I always thought it would be interesting to approach the Ninja Turtles through this prism”says the actor.

With the humor that characterizes him, Seth Rogen returns, in the video above, to his experience around Teenage Years and reveals to the passaga his favorite pizza! And his answer is hilarious (just like his laugh)!
