They committed several offenses at the Maurer Kirtag in Vienna this year. And as if that wasn’t enough, the four accused (20) attacked someone rushing to help with a knife that has brass knuckles as a handle. The victim was seriously injured by a liver stab. The perpetrator turns himself in because of nightmares. The four men are incredibly sorry. “I woke up the next day and I couldn’t understand what I was doing. I had nightmares,” said the fourth. So he later turned himself in to the police. The remaining three suspects were immediately arrested.Sentences suspendedThe man who stabbed the man was sentenced to two years’ imprisonment. The first and third accused received 24 and 18 months in prison – also partly due. All three charged with intentionally causing serious bodily harm. A 19-year-old with a criminal record has been jailed for nine months for coercion. The judgments are not final.
