From the bottom of the previous week to the top places: Stefano Zarrella has revealed the secret behind his “Let’s Dance” success.

Was it because of the theme of the evening, the Italo Night, which of course was particularly important to the German-Italian? On his magical dance partner Maria Maksina, 27? Or maybe the life-affirming Charleston, which clearly suited him better than the slow waltz from the previous week? At the fourth live show of “Let’s Dance,” food influencer Stefano Zarrella, 33, danced his way free on Friday evening (March 22). Together with his partner Maksina, Giovanni Zarrella’s little brother, 46, put on one of the best performances of the evening to “Via Con Me” by Paolo Conte, 87 – and showed off afterwards in an interview with RTL euphoric about his formidable performance.

On “Let’s Dance” Stefano Zarrella was able to “just let go”

The dancing couple received an outstanding 23 points from the “Let’s Dance” jury in show four – after a paltry ten points from the previous week. Juror Motsi Mabuse, 42, enthusiastically spoke of a “real comeback” when evaluating the dance. Even the otherwise strict jury member Joachim Llambi, 59, gave him an impressive seven points.

Stefano Zarrella himself was extremely satisfied with his performance after the show ended. He spoke to RTL about a “wonderful evening”. “I had so much fun,” said the 33-year-old. And that was exactly the difference from previous weeks. In the past “Let’s Dance” shows he wasn’t able to “have fun and just let go,” but “fortunately” that was different on Friday evening.

However, on Saturday afternoon Zarrella reported himself on Instagram spoke out and let his fans and followers know that he suffered a laceration above his left eye following the RTL show. “I was so euphoric and upset by the day and the evening yesterday,” explains Zarrella in a story on the social network.

After the show ended, he and his sister Maria went to a bar and wanted to greet the DJ there, whom he knew. But at that exact moment, with a clumsy movement, he cut his head. There was blood “everywhere” and it “really hurt,” Zarrella tells his fans with a laugh. It’s quite clear: Zarrella doesn’t let this little mishap spoil his joy about his excellent performance.

“Let’s Dance” fans will have to wait a little longer until the next live show this time. RTL is taking a short Easter break. There will be no new edition on Good Friday this year. It continues on April 5th at 8:15 p.m. live on RTL or on the in-house Streaming service RTL+.
