“I had to take antibiotics”, the singer suffered from the weight of her headdress

I didn’t have a problem with its weight. When you are happy, there is no weight or pain!“she first remembers, before finally admitting that when she took off the tiara, she discovered “a cut due to the pressure of weight”. “The next day I woke up and saw my reflection in the mirror. I had an egg-sized bump in the middle of my forehead.. My eyes were squinting because of the bump!”confides the 56-year-old artist.

With humor, Céline Dion, who has never been stingy with confidences about her family life, relates a new anecdote and confirms that she immediately turned to her husband after the discovery to suggest: “It’s too late now, we’re married!”, she had told him. Which did not prevent him, at the time, from having to “take antibiotics for three weeks”. Far from being burned by this injury, Céline Dion agreed to remarry René Angelil in Las Vegas, in January 2000.

24 years later, Celine Dion takes a step back and suggests that she now lives day to day due to her fragile health. If she hasn’t released a new album since Courage in 2019, she does not specify whether original songs are being recorded and is cautious about a possible return to stage. Despite her determination and the passion that she reaffirms during this interview, the artist believes that she cannot yet answer this question. “Because for four years, I told myself that I wouldn’t go back, that I’m ready, that I’m not ready… Today, I can’t tell you: ‘Yes, in four months.’ I don’t know… My body will tell me.”she said, while giving her last performances in North America in March 2020.
