A few years earlier, the journalist had survived prostate cancer, but this time around, he sadly lost his battle with the disease. On the occasion of the first anniversary of the journalist’s death, his youngest daughter, Lou Pernaut, was the guest of the program Chez Jordan, broadcast on Thursday March 16, 2023 on C8. During his interview with host Jordan de Luxe, Lou Pernaut talked about some strange coincidences that happened to him, and which she interprets as divine signs coming directly from her late father. “I have calls… For example, I had my TV turning on by itself and saying: ‘Your daddy would be proud of you’. Or there is the music ‘Papaoutai’ passing in a taxi, I say: ‘If my father saw that’. And all of a sudden, the radio bugs and doesn’t work anymore. And the guy says: ‘I can’t turn on the radio anymore,'” she said.

It would seem that Lou Pernaut is not the only member of her family to perceive signs that she attributes to Jean-Pierre Pernaut. In effect, her mother also says the same.
