“I have no innate love”: Isabelle Morini-Bosc’s clear (and unconventional) opinion on motherhood

During an interview for our colleagues from the World, Isabelle Morini-Bosc confided in her career but also in her private life and the question of motherhood.

She delivered herself with an open heart to our colleagues in the world. Isabelle Morini-Bosc returned to his career but also on his private life. At the age of 21, she married her current husband, Alain Morini. And the former columnist of TPMP sets him a condition: to paste their two names but reversed, “otherwise the initials would have made IBM and I hate computers”. If she is passionate about writing and drawing, her husband “had read Cosmo [le magazine féminin Cosmopolitan] : he harassed me until I found a job. Now he wants me fired!”

For forty-four years, the two lovebirds are together. “I have always thought that marriages of convenience make couples more united than marriages of love, where at the first argument we leave each other”. She then declares to love her husband “more today than at the beginning”. But the trials are also present in the couple. Indeed, her husband is affected of leukemia. “And with the heart operation that had to be redone and the salmonella this summer, he has just had a blank year” to the hospital. During this interview, Isabelle Morini-Bosc also confides in her son, Guillaume and his desire to have children. “I didn’t want children, I was for decline. (…) Children, I don’t have an innate love. Disabled children, yes, normal children…”

Isabelle Morini-Bosc confides in her career

And for good reason, Isabelle Morini-Bosc is a hard worker. “I love learning to learn. Afterwards, there are subjects where I touch my ball: history, painting. I could fly for a painting!” Passionate, she was a portraitist for Géo, then joined VSD in 1979, in the television section. Then, she joined RTL in 1995. In 2013, she joined TPMP. Did she look for the buzz? “I can’t say that. [Cyril Hanouna] has a form of genius. He has real flashes. He pretends to be a fool when he is very cultured”.
