A new complaint for rape against Patrick Poivre d’Arvor would have been filed according to Franceinfo. The alleged victim gave a frightening testimony in the program Complément d’Enquête, broadcast this Thursday, April 28.
Complaints of rape or sexual assault against Patrick Poivre d’Arvor would multiply, even as the latter, which deny everythingdecided to fight back by suing 16 women who accused him of defamation. France info revealed, this Wednesday, April 27, thata woman reportedly filed a new rape complaint against the former star presenter of the JT of TF1. Information that the Nanterre prosecution confirmed, stating that the complaint was currently under consideration. This complaint would come from a woman, renamed Matildawho delivered a chilling testimony in the issue dedicated to this case of Further investigationairing this Thursday, April 28.
The facts allegedly took place in 1995, when the alleged victim was aged 24 years. Young graduate of a school of journalism, she was working at the time in the editorial staff of TF1. One day, while she was in Patrick Poivre d’Arvor’s office, “He asks me if I have a boyfriend, a lover. I felt cold, I answered him ‘no’. He gets up, he goes around his huge office, he comes to sit next to me , he puts his hands on my shoulders and he kisses me”she explained in Further investigation. And to add: “I looked at the ceiling. It lasted two minutes, no more than two minutes. He got dressed, I got dressed. He said to me ‘good evening, see you tomorrow’. I find that abominable.”
Mathilde: “He grabbed me by the hair, he brought my face closer to his penis”
Mathilde would also accuse PPDA of attempted rape. One evening, after a newspaper, “He came close to me, against me, he unbuttoned his pants, he grabbed me by the hair, he brought my face close to his penis, assures the plaintiff. I struggled like crazy. It was so violent. He got dressed, he left, without a word.” Philippe Naepels, the journalist’s lawyer, told France info not to have been informed of this new complaint. “If this complaint exists, it will be the subject of a judicial investigation and Mr. Poivre d’Arvor will answer any questions that may be asked of himas he always did”he advanced.
