I tested myBlend, the new temple of beauty by Clarins

After the success of its spas at the Hôtel du Royal Monceau Paris and at the Thermes Marins in Monte-Carlo, Clarins is inaugurating its first myBlend house in the heart of the Marais. An elegant and refined place where the expertise and the universe of the luxury brand are honoured. I went to this new temple of beauty, and invites you to dive into this universe that combines technology and ultimate relaxation…

It all starts on the ground floor, where I discover the different myBlend ranges: treatments highly concentrated in active ingredients suitable for all skin problems, but also food supplements, for ultra-complete in & out beauty. A little further, in a cozy and calm space, I am offered to enter the Regeneration Room. I lie down on a relaxing armchair then an expert installs an LED mask on my face. It has the particularity of cover the face area but also the neck area. It is equipped with 144 red LEDs (which act on tissue regeneration) and 144 infrared LEDs (which improve cell oxygenation and promote blood circulation). The expert turns off the light in the room, and leaves me for 5 minutes of rest, with a little soft music in the background.

Once the mask is removed, I am amazed by the effect on my skin: my complexion is much brighter and more awake, it’s impressive ! Highlight: This 5-minute experience is free for those who visit the myBlend home. The expert then suggests that I follow her for the second part of the treatment, in the wellness area.

Skin diagnosis and facial treatment

The expert leads me to the wellness area, in the basement of the myBlend house, which is made up of 3 treatment rooms. Going down the stairs, impossible to miss the magnificent blue wall fresco signed by Tiffany Bouelle, which is a perfect introduction. I settle into an ultra-soft heated massage bed and am ready to discover the “Essential” ritual of one hour.

The expert explains to me that the ritual is tailor-made, according to each person and each skin type. This is why it systematically begins with a skin diagnosis which brings together questions about my lifestyle, my desires but also the needs of my skin. I particularly insist on my lack of hydration and radiance but also on the prevention of the first wrinkles. After these 5 minutes of questioning, the ritual can begin. The expert alternates between deep remodeling, application of treatments and use of advanced devices: radiotherapy, electrostimulation but also diffusion of hot and cold temperatures on the skin (one of the best moments of the treatment in my opinion!).

Verdict?

I come out of this place rested and relaxed, but I especially notice real effects on my skin which is not always the case after a first session. My complexion is brighter and fresher, my skin is plumped up and my oval looks lifted. I’m really amazed… Regarding the prices, the facials are offered from 60 euros for 30 minutes. The brand also offers body rituals, harmonizing and energizing, from 180 euros.
