“I thought I was dying”: Sandrine Josso, the MP who accuses a senator of having drugged her, speaks for the first time: Femme Actuelle Le MAG

In C to you broadcast on France 5 On Monday, November 20, 2023, MP Sandrine Josso spoke for the first time since the events of November 14. She accuses Senator Joël Guerriau of having drugged her without her knowledge that day, with the aim of sexually assaulting her. If the latter remains presumed innocent until proven guilty, he was taken into police custody, then indicted for “administration of a substance to commit rape or sexual assault”, on Friday November 17, 2023. “But the senator was someone you knew?”asked Anne-Élisabeth Lemoine. “Yes, for 10 years. He was even a friend. […] I don’t know what happened to him. He was not in his normal statedeclared Sandrine Rosso before explaining: “I just had the necessary survival instinct. At first I thought I was going to die of a heart attack. I thought I was going to die because I thought he was going to abuse mebecause in the elevator I could no longer stand up”.

Sandrine Josso wants to warn against the scourge of chemical submission

Only a few days after the events, Sandrine Josso nevertheless wanted to reveal her story, although it was still “very difficult” for her. Present on the set of Anne-Élisabeth Lemoine’s talk show, she said she still suffered from post-traumatic stress. “I didn’t know that at all. There is this scourge which is drugs, and the consequence of all that is post-traumatic stress. It’s unbearable. I jump all the time. The MP then confided that she wanted to take this fight publicly in order to “to urge the government to do something about this scourge, which is everywhere in our society. And above all, to raise awareness”. She then continued her story by detailing some essential actions in her opinion: stop drinking, go see someone you trust to warn, take a blood test, take your urine. “It’s essential to understand that we can all suffer what I suffered today”, she finally concluded. According to Sandrine Josso, the phenomenon of chemical submission of which she accuses the 66-year-old senator from Loire-Atlantique is sadly widespread in society. “The doctors and nurses told me ‘ma’am cases like you, it’s every day, three times a day’. The host then recalled that around 600 complaints are filed per year in France for similar facts.
