“I touch…”: Nathalie Saint-Cricq cash on her salary at France Télévisions

A recognized public service political columnist, Nathalie Saint-Cricq, by her name and her position, fuels many fantasies. Rumors, which, for the vast majority, shatter when confronted with the wall of reality. In his portrait painted among our colleagues at Release this Wednesday, April 3, the journalist and editor-in-chief of the political department of France Télévisions, both amused and annoyed by this gossip that she knows by heart. Rich, fervent support of Emmanuel Macron, and ideal representative of the “fourth power”, Nathalie Saint-Cricq brushes aside these suspicions, sometimes letting the facts speak for her.

Regarding her supposed wealth, in particular, the journalist, wife of her colleague Patrice Duhamel, hides nothing. Without further ado, she does not hesitate to show her pay slip to the journalist from Release and reveals his net salary: €5,789, including the thirteenth month. A nice sum, certainly, but far from the alluring amounts that some could imagine. “People confuse the salaries of journalists and those of animators. I also receive royalties”, she tempers all the same. However, we stay far from the mountains of tickets.

Nathalie Saint-Cricq without taboo on her salary for several years

Where many French people still have a form of taboo about saying exactly how much they earn, Nathalie Saint-Cricq seems to have passed this stage a long time ago. Even before confiding in Releasethe mother of Benjamin Duhamel and aunt of the Minister of Sports Amélie Oudéa-Castéra had already spoken on the subject in 2022 in a podcast, where she then revealed touching “5,600 euros net”.

A few months before, with Jordan De Luxe, she had given her gross salary, revealing that the amount amounted to “7,000 euros”. She then even clarified that she would not receive bonuses during special events such as election nights or political debates. As for her appearances on France Inter on Sundays, it’s quite simple: Nathalie Saint-Cricq assures that she doesn’t receive anything for this show!
