Themes he addresses in his book, just like her melancholy depression who could have made him want to suicide. “I was young, because I had just moved from the family home to the solitude of a Parisian apartment, which I hated. And I was in this phase of self-discovery which was exhausting me. It was the cry of a woman who stopped me as I was about to jump from a balconythus confided the artist.

Panayotis Pascot suffers from melancholy depression

To understand the evil that ruins his life, he explained what melancholy depression was. “These are very intense depressive phases where nothing is of interest and where the future is necessarily black. […] My brain no longer produces serotoninand I only think of self-destruction. And suddenly, the greatest fears of the unconscious arrive which push you to suicide”, said the comedian. Just six months ago, he experienced a very dark period that could have led him straight to a psychiatric hospital. He was able to count on the support of his brothers to enable him to get his head above water. “After a difficult tour, a psychiatrist wanted to commit mebut my brothers agreed to be my guardians and I escaped confinement.” To help him get better, Panayotis Pascot assured him to undergo treatment. “It’s a long process but I’m on the right track”he concluded full of hope.
