And since then, her daily life has been completely turned upside down. Between interviews, photo shoots, community engagements… the beauty queen hardly has a second to herself. And it’s not always easy. As she explained on the C à vous set this Tuesday, February 1, Diane Leyre sometimes has the impression of being spied on. And that, even while sleeping! “I was in my bed and I had this feeling of saying to myself: ‘But you can’t be in this position sleeping because there, they can take your picture'”, told Miss France 2022, who was then in “fetus position, on the side”.
“I realized I was getting paranoid, but it was funny. I took it as a joke…”, continued the beauty queen. And it is not the only one to have had this impression. Long before her, Iris Mittenaere also went through it, especially when she was preparing to be elected Miss Universe. “I had not suffered this in France where I could quietly do my shopping. In New York, I feel spied on. On the Internet, I find photos of me in the street, at the hairdresser. I start to psycho. It’s a little scary. I imagine there are photographers everywhere. I can no longer go out without makeup or in pajamas. I become paranoid. But I’m not going to complain either”she told the Parisianhappy to have found her life before.

Even if notoriety can worry her, Diane Leyre nevertheless ensures that she sometimes manages to cut herself off from her new status.. Especially thanks to his relatives. “Time off for me is like when you finish your working day. At 7 p.m. or 8 p.m., I can go and join my family. So, at home, I’m not Miss France, I’m Diane” , she described on the set of C à vous, explaining that she was doing “the dishes, like everyone else”. Since her election as Miss France 2022, the young woman assures her: “My life hasn’t really changed”. This is in particular why Diane Leyre wants to appear naturally on social networks. “I want to show the truth, she summarizes. (…) There are days when I want to take some time off. I haven’t changed, I’m still Diane Leyre.”
