Julia Navalnaya thanks her husband for “26 years of absolute happiness”

Julia Navalnaya cannot attend her husband Navalny’s funeral. But she says goodbye from abroad with a declaration of love. “I don’t know how I’ll live without you, but I’ll do my best to make you up there happy for me and proud of me,” she writes.
Yulia Navalnaya, the widow of Kremlin opponent Alexei Navalny, who died in the prison camp, remembered her husband on the day of the funeral with a declaration of love. “Lyosha, thank you for 26 years of absolute happiness. Yes, even for the last three years of happiness. For love, for always supporting me, for making me laugh even in prison, for always “Thought of me,” she wrote on X.
The widow who accused Russian President Vladimir Putin of murdering the popular opposition politician was unable to attend the funeral for security reasons. Like her children Darja and Sachar, she is abroad. Her post continued: “I don’t know how I’ll live without you, but I’ll do my best to make you up there happy for me and proud of me. I don’t know if I can do it or not “But I’ll try,” said Navalnaya, who had previously announced that she would continue her husband’s work.
“I am sure that we will meet one day,” Navalnaya continues. She has so many untold stories and so many songs saved for him on her phone, silly, funny and even terrible songs – “but they’re about us and I wanted so much for you to listen to them. And I wanted so much to see “As you listen to them and laugh and then hug me. I will always love you. Rest in peace.”

According to official Russian information, Navalny died on January 16 in a prison camp in the Arctic region of Yamal. The circumstances of his death are not clear; for days the authorities refused to hand over his body to the family.
