Invited on the set of the show “Popcorn”, the actor and director said that he would accept to shoot new numbers of the game show “Burger Quiz”. “I would do it again tomorrow, I think it’s a recreation,” said Alain Chabat. The last episode of “Burger Quiz” aired in 2020.
Alain Chabat’s television restaurant could soon reopen its doors. The actor and director is ready to direct new numbers of Burger Quiz. Wednesday evening, he was the guest of Pop corn, a talk show broadcast on the Twitch platform and hosted by streamer Domingo. A program during which he was obviously asked about a possible return of the show Burger Quiz on the TMC channel. And Alain Chabat does not really close the door.
“Do you ever intend to relaunch Burger Quiz Or is it something that has already been done a lot?” Asks Domingo. “As you also said, it’s a lot of work, a lot of time, writing and everything. Is it behind you now?” Adds the videographer.
“It’s a recreation”
“No, I would do it again tomorrow, I think it’s a recreation”, answers Alain Chabat immediately. Also present on the set, comedian Monsieur Poulpe, who took part in several filmings of Burger Quiz, confirms the pleasure of participating in this program. “It’s great but everyone is freaking out about doing the premiere. I’ve done several (filming Burger Quizeditor’s note), the first, I was not being smart.”
“That’s why you have to do at least two because the first one sucks,” continues Alain Chabat.
What to make hope the fans of Burger Quiz. In the meantime, they will be able to find Alain Chabat at the cinema on July 5, on the occasion of the theatrical release in a restored version ofAsterix and Obelix: Mission Cleopatra.
