Cecilia Asoro drives Australian hotel staff crazy
Like her fellow campaigners, Cecilia Asoro, 26, is currently in quarantine before moving into the jungle camp on Friday, January 13th. Apparently she spends her time in the Australian hotel brushing up on her language skills. Because as she admits to her Instagram followers, her English could be better. This poses a problem in terms of communicating with Australian hotel staff.
However, the 26-year-old knows how to help herself and uses animal sounds when she calls reception: After she put her grazed food tray in front of the room door, she says flies attacked it. So she wanted to ask for the plate to be picked up. To make this clear to the person on the other end of the line, Cecilia hums into the phone because she has forgotten the English word for “fly”. Lo and behold – your request was understood. Sometimes just a little creativity is required.

Speculations about a possible jungle cat war are picking up speed. Even before moving into the camp, the likelihood that two jungle stars will get in each other’s hair seems to be particularly high: Verena Kerth, 41, and Claudia Effenberg, 57. In an interview, the latter is less fond of singer Marc Terenzi’s new girlfriend, 44, to speak: “I’ll say it now as it is and I don’t want to beat around the bush either: Verena and I had each other several times. A total of three times.” The trigger for the friction between the two women: Verena’s dog, who is said to have peed on her expensive carpet when Claudia’s dirndl shop opened. Instead of wiping away the mishap, Verena was amused by Claudia’s statements about the incident.

In addition, the wife of Stefan Effenberg, 54, announces: “It may also be that my collar bursts in the jungle and I revive one or the other thing, but only if she drives me.”
Verena herself seems to see things quite differently. When she was asked about her fellow candidate Claudia in an interview, the blonde told RTL: “So everything is fine with us – as I said, I’m really looking forward to her.”

Daniela Katzenberger makes an announcement to Lucas Cordalis
It finally worked on the third attempt: Lucas Cordalis, 55, moves to the Australian jungle and is allowed to fight for the jungle crown in the camp. The singer has already arrived in Australia, leaving his wife Daniela Katzenberger, 36, and daughter Sophia, 7, at home. But the documentary queen insisted on giving her loved one a few clear words to take with him – including a souvenir.
Daniela smuggled her lover’s bra into her suitcase, as Lucas revealed to “Bild”. “I think she does it to mark her territory,” sums up the jungle camp participant. Lucas has unpacked the bra again, but he can still hear Daniela’s urgent message. “My wife told me never to take a shower naked! She also said with a wink, ‘Stay away from other women!’ My wife is very jealous, but I’m a good husband. Nevertheless, there could be a wrong look and then it bangs. Daniela has a lot of fire!” Lucas describes his wife. How good that Lucas is guarded by cameras 24 hours a day…
