If the Oppo Find X6 Pro does not come out in France, we will bitterly regret it according to DXOMARK

The company specializing in DXOMARK laboratory tests ranked the Oppo Find X6 Pro first in its photo ranking. What to regret once again what the rumor has been suggesting for several weeks: it should not be released in France.

Only one smartphone is missing and everything is depopulated. This is undoubtedly what Oppo fans feel, since it has been rumored for several weeks that the Oppo Find X6 Pro does not come out here. So here is one more nail in the coffin of their hopes: according to DXOMARK, the successor to the Oppo Find X5 Pro is quite simply the best photo phone on the market.

As a reminder, DXOMARK has made a specialty of scientific testing of smartphone cameras. Faced with such a rigorous approach, it is not always easy to squat the top of the table and even phones crowned champion by the general public like the Galaxy S22 Ultra struggle to squat the top 10.

A bokeh champion

The Oppo Find X6 Pro therefore comes in first place in this ranking with 153 points. It is ahead of the former first, the Honor Magic5 Pro by only one point.

This rating can be seen as an average of several sub-categories. The Find X6 Pro excels in particular on color rendering, grain or image noise which is well controlled in all conditions. It is slightly overtaken by its rival on the management of artifacts or exposure and misses a little on the management of autofocus. Don’t worry, this one remains reliable and fast, but just a little less efficient than its competitors.

In a completely different category, on bokeh, the Oppo Find X6 Pro dominates its subject. It is one of the best phones in circulation on this subject.

Of course, all is not perfect. DXOMARK points to a lack of contrast in certain backlit portraits, exposure concerns, a somewhat shallow depth of field which forces you to move away to have clear group shots, or even skin colors that lack a bit of naturalness in certain conditions.

Frustration rears its ugly head

Faced with such an excellent result, there is reason to regret all the more the rumors that Oppo does not plan to release its flagship in Europe and therefore in France. It would seem that the critical success of the Oppo Find X5 Pro did nothing. Like the Xiaomi 12S Ultra last year, which never reached us, we will probably have to settle for the opinions and tests published by the international press.

Good news however, the second in the ranking, the Honor Magic 5 Pro will come out well in France. What largely to catch up.
