A data leak that could affect 10 million people
The public establishment has indeed confirmed, through an article on its website, that it has been the victim of a theft affecting the personal data of job seekers.
To be more precise, the hackers targeted the servers of a Pôle Emploi service provider, the Majorel company, which is responsible for digitizing and processing all the documents sent by jobseekers to their advisers or during their job searches.
Pôle Emploi today estimates that 10 million people could potentially be affected. This indeed concerns the six million people registered with the establishment since February 2022, but also “ those in cessation of registration for less than twelve months on that date “, as indicated by the management of Pôle Emploi to our colleagues from the Parisian.

Pôle Emploi detailed the data of its users which would have been stolen during this hack.
