Samsung’s BESPOKE AI Washer & Dryer Combo goes the extra mile when it comes to smart home appliances.
Samsung is very active at the IFA in Berlin. The brand announced its new AI-powered Samsung Food platform and also integrates artificial intelligence into a washing machine that also tumbles, the BESPOKE AI Washer & Dryer Combo.
An AI-powered power saving mode
This model washes and dries laundry in one step, eliminating the hassle of transferring laundry from one machine to another. Households also gain space in their homes, since there is only one device instead of two.
It is equipped with digital inverter heat pump technology and is capable of accommodating a washing capacity of up to 25 kilos. Samsung has integrated intelligent functions into it, allowing both to offer more flexibility to users and to save energy.
AI Energy mode is available in SmartThings Energy, a section of Samsung’s SmartThings app, available on Android and iOS. But the use of artificial intelligence does not stop there.
A truly smart washing machine
The BESPOKE AI Washer & Dryer Combo in fact counts on AI Wash, a technology that detects the weight and softness of the fabric in each load as well as the continuous level of dirt depending on the turbidity of the water. The system will then automatically adapt, optimizing the amount of water and detergent to be used, and continuously adjusting the soak, rinse and spin times to ensure that the laundry comes out in the best possible condition.
The door of the washing machine dryer opens by itself as soon as the cycle is finished, less effort to consent for users.
