London warns Tehran: World is losing patience

Iran supports both terrorist organizations: the Houthis and Hezbollah. After several attacks on ships in the Red Sea, the British Defense Minister is now admonishing Iran. He must finally make it clear to his allies that they have to stop their activities.
Britain has called on Iran to call on Houthi fighters in Yemen and other allies in the Middle East to stop their attacks. The world is losing patience with Tehran’s destabilizing activities, British Defense Secretary Grant Shapps warned in an interview with the Daily Telegraph.
Iran must force the Houthi fighters, but also other actors it supports, such as Lebanon’s Hezbollah and groups in Iraq and Syria, to stop, Shapps said. Tehran must play an important role in de-escalating tensions and understand that it must make it clearer to its many allies in the region that nothing good will come of it and everyone will lose if they continue on the path they have chosen.
The USA and Great Britain, with the support of allies, have been attacking Houthi rebel positions in Yemen since Friday night. For some time now, they have been attacking ships in the Red Sea that they believe have Israeli owners or want to call at Israeli ports. Shapps stressed that Britain was acting in self-defense because of the threat to merchant ships and a drone attack on a British destroyer.
