After a first lamp, a shelf, a decorative frame and then a second version of a lamp, Ikea and Sonos give birth to a new speaker in the shape of a lamp, this time mounted on three long legs. In fact, this new lamp is identical to the version currently marketed at €174, €, the only difference therefore residing in the system of feet.
With its wifi connectivity, this new speaker can be perfectly integrated into the Sonos multiroom ecosystem. Thus, you can pair two speakers to obtain a stereo system or combine two of these lamp-speakers with a Sonos soundbar (Ray, Beam or Arc) in order to transform them into surround speakers and thus obtain a complete home-cinema system. .
Ikea takes the opportunity to release a new bamboo lampshade. This is of course removable and can be exchanged with a textile or glass version, sold respectively for €25 and €35.
This new speaker lamp is expected for next January and will be sold for $260 across the Atlantic. It should therefore turn around 250 € in France.
