It will have to be patient this summer on the public transport network in the Paris region. This year again, “substantial works” will disrupt until the end of August five RER lines, seven train lines, nine metro lines and four tram lines, presented the actors concerned on Tuesday, June 6.

Line B of the RER will be the most affected, with in particular an interruption on the northern axis from August 12 to 14, between Paris-Nord and Mitry-Claye, which will cut off access to Roissy-Charles-de-France airport. -Gaulle. On Monday August 14 in particular, despite the implementation of “many replacement buses”, Jean-François Perrin, production director of Transilien SNCF Voyageurs, suggests to passengers to “postpone their trips” or even to “prefer teleworking”, because the “level of substitution will be insufficient in relation to the volume of travellers”.

On the southern axis, various sections of the RER B will be closed on variable dates, with in particular a cut from Fontaine-Michalon to Massy-Palaiseau from July 14 to 21 and from August 5 to 20, for the replacement of two bridges.

The RER A line will be closed from August 5 to 20 between Cergy-Le Haut and Conflans-Fin d’Oise, as well as from August 9 to 18 between Nation and Val-de-Fontenay and Nation and Fontenay-sous- Drink.
